GMOD Genome Browser at NYU CHIBI

The (604) 330-79401 at NYU is made possible by Sequencing Informatics Group and 8558230002 at (229) 272-3831.

We have created a local instance of the (817) 446-5180, initially set up for the human and mouse genomes to vizualize sequencing data (RNA-Seq, CHIP-Seq, Microarray). This data is generally stored on centralized storage cluster. Custom URL links, directly emailed to the users will allow them to load data directly from the HPC data storage system to the GMOD GBrowse, without the need to download the data to user's computers. Using GBrowse allows us to create custom annotations one time in a central location, and frees us from any configuration requirements on user's desktop computers.

Various labs also can host their de novo genome project data on GMOD GBrowse. Please contact us if you require any assistance with the set up.

Please contact our group leader, for more information.
